Florprotec Tac Bac Self-Adhesive Carpet Floor Protection Film 600mm - Clear

This protection film is an ideal carpet protection tape for new carpets, it adheres direct to the carpet, and peels clean after use. The clear film should be used to protect entire carpeted areas and carpeted staircases. It is manufactured from polyethylene and coated on one side with a water based adhesive. The product is inside wound and is manufactured at 60 microns and available in flat firm.

Tacbac carpet cover fitting instructions

• Do not apply to wet, damp or recently cleaned carpets
• Do not apply to soft touch type & velvet, Jacaranda & Saxony PP style carpets
• Allow for sub floor adhesive to cure before applying, do not trap vapours
• Do not apply to long wool carpets. Not suitable for use on wool or oriental carpets, rugs, worn carpets or soft deep carpet tiles.
• Do not apply to dirty or soiled carpets
• Do not apply to carpets in a poor condition
• Do not use if under floor heating is to be used
• Do not use in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
• To be applied to carpet for a maximum of 8 weeks, should contract be for a longer term, lift protection and apply new rolls
• When used on stair cases, if stairs have smooth nosings, prime nosing first with a peel clean tape
• Roll Tacbac out and either smooth over with your hand or a soft brush.
• When removing, peel away from carpet slowly and smoothly, do not take up aggressively
• To be used for 8 weeks maximum
• The product should be stored and applied in normal dry condition which generally means
• 10 to 30 degrees C and 50 to 60 % humidity
• Do not store heavy goods on top of the protection. Do not protect carpet if room is to be used as site storage

We strongly suggest doing a test patch on a small hidden area of carpet for at least 48hrs to ensure compatibility with the particular carpet and to ensure that there is no adhesive transfer or damage. If unsure please check with your carpet supplier before use.
